Prem Devi

Jaipur based homemaker Prem Devi, from BPL background had a complaint that every time she tried drinking water, she felt a thousand needle pain in her mouth. Her tongue had turned into a white patch, covered with numerous red blisters, big and small. All these were because of her habit of brushing teeth with tobacco.

She initially consulted a local physician in Tunga, Jaipur and the doctor prescribed her medicines for a toothache. Later when the medicines failed to be of any help, she was advised for biopsy, when she was diagnosed with oral cancer. The physician suggested Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (BMCHRC) for further treatment.

When Prem Devi arrived at BMCHRC and consulted the doctors, considering her financial status she was promised that the treatment would be done for free of cost. This confirmation gave Prem Devi a courage and confidence to fight against cancer and she underwent   several treatment procedured and surgeries and got cured.

She expresses delightfully “BMCHRC is truly a blessing for everyone”.
