Preventive Oncology

The hospital has been organizing Preventive Camps in the remote areas with an aim to detect early cancer and also to make public aware about this dreaded disease. This initiative has been taken in the interest of general public who resides in far flung sub urban areas where treatment facilities are not in existence.

  • In the field of cancer awareness and its early detection, BMCHRC organize mobile unit camps in the distant remote and slum areas not only of Rajasthan state but also in neighboring states.
  • This initiative was started in 1999 & till date hospital has organized 1191 camps & screened 1,84,010 beneficiaries.
  • BMCHRC organize on an average two Camps in a week in which team of General Physician, Oncologist, Gynecologist, ENT Specialist, Radiographer, Paramedical & Nursing staff visits & screens patients in rural & urban areas.
  • BMCHRC also has Cancer Screening Mobile Van and Women Health Van – which is equipped with Mammography, X-ray Machine, Dark Room, Laboratory & Procedure Room and is being used widely for Cancer Screening & Early Detection.
