The MAKE-A-WISH Foundation of India is a part of the largest not-for-profit wish granting organization in the world , serving 30+ countries with international affiliates on five continents . MAKE-A-WISH Foundation worldwide has helped make over 144,000 wishes come true.
The Indian affiliate was established in 1996 and since, more than 14500+ wishes have been granted to children across the country.
The MAKE-A-WISH Foundation is dedicated to granting the most cherished wishes of children between the ages of 3 and 18 , suffering from life threatening illness like thalassemia,cancer, HIV+,Nephrotic Syndrome, heart ailments, aplastic anemia,liver failure, etc. regardless of caste, creed or economic status.
The wishes can fall into 4 categories:
