Radio Diagnosis
The department of Radio Diagnosis was started in 1998 and right now is entirely computerised. The facilities available at inception were I.I.TV with 500 Ma X-ray and ultrasonography with superficial, abdominal, transvaginal and transrectal probes. Later mammography, orthopantomography and 60 mA mobile x-ray machine was added. The department has seen a rising trend in the investigations done.

Later mammography, orthopantomography and 60 mA mobile x-ray machine was added.
The department has seen a rising trend in the investigations done. This is expected as it follows the increase in number of patients attending the hospital over the same period. There are all the modalities for investigation available in the department. Mammography is being done at a negligible cost. Along with mammography, if required, sonomam-mography is being done free of cost. We also provide Spiva CT Scan: Diagnostic and CT guided FNAC.
Over the time we have been able to develop expertise in obtaining diagnosis from USG guided FNAC of small masses adjacent to vessels, vital organs, and at remote sites.

Passed M.D. (Radiadiagnosis) in year 1986, from S.P. Medical College, Bikaner.They have 19 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor (14 years) and Assosiate professor (5 years), mostly at SMS Medical college Jaipur. Presently working Assosiate professor in Radiodiagnosis at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Jaipur.They has been trained at AIIMS , GB pant Hospital & INMAS, New Delhi in CT, ultrasound & Nuclear Medicine.They has been coordinator to DNB exam, Examiner to Diploma and B.Sc. Radiography courses at SMS Medical College, NIMS & MGMC, Jaipur. Has also been Co-guide to MD students.They has an international and national publication. Main area of interest are CT Scan, Color Doppler, non vascular interventions in addition to conventional Radiology.
