The department of pathology and microbiology started functioning in 1998. Since that time it has shown remarkable progress. The department caters to the needs of the outdoor and indoor patients of the hospital, as well as to referred patients. For specialised investigations we have a tie-up with speciality Ranbaxy Labs in Mumbai.

The department caters to the needs of the outdoor and indoor patients of the hospital, as well as to the referred patients for opinion. The department of Pathology has fully functional setup of histopathology, haematology, biochemistry, immunology and microbiology. Each section is well-equipped with latest machines to carry out all investigations related to oncology including frozen section, tumour markers, cytochemistry and cytosine preparation. Presently the department is conducting all the routine and basic investigations required for oncology patients. For specialised investigations we have a tie-up with speciality Ranbaxy Labs in Mumbai. In addition we have well developed & equipped departments of Haematology & Biochemistry with 24 hours Blood Bank.

Retired as Professor & Head, Department of Pathology, S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur. My teaching experience 34 years. Special area of interest in Surgical Pathology.
