Dr. Ajay Bapna did his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur he received training in Medical Oncology, Paediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation for three years at prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (1995 - 1997).

He joined BMCHRC, Jaipur on 1st January,1998 and started the functioning of Department of Medical Oncology at BMCHRC, Jaipur. Presently he is working as Senior Consultant and Co-ordinator of Medical Oncology Department.

Dr. Naresh Somani is Senior Medical Oncologist. He did D.M. in Medical Oncology from Cancer Institute, Chennai. He also received training from Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia in Medical Oncology, Bone Marro Transplant & Clinical Trials. He is  working in BMCHRC from 1999. He had more than 10 National & International publication and presentation.

His original paper on Hodgkin's Lymphoma was selected for young scientist section of conference "ISMPO". He success fully organised International seminar in Advances in Oncology in year October,2005 and 2nd Annual Conference of BMCHRC in October,2006. He also organised 16th Indian Co-Operative Oncology Network meet in March,2007. Dr. Naresh Somani is instrumental in success and growth of department of Medical Oncology at BMCHRC, Jaipur. He is Principal Investigator for more than 15 International Phase I, II  nd III Trials at BMCHRC. He also published a book "Cancer Upchar" for help of patients.

Dr. Pawan Agarwal, MD is working as consultant Medical Oncologist at here from seven years. He is specialised from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and worked in Leukemia and Lymphoma Clinic, Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit, Breast Clinic and gained ample experience for management of Adult and children cancer. He is 20 papers published in various journal.

Dr. Lalit Mohan Sharma is consultant hematologist and Medical oncologist. He has done his clinical hematology training from department of hematology AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science) New Delhi. He is trained in Medical oncology and stem cell transplations from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has special interest in treatment of Hematolymhphoid cancers including Childhood ALL. He is involved as principal investigater in various phase 2 and phase 3 & international clinical trials.He is actively involved in various outreach and educational activities for general practitioners nurses and other practitioners staff.He has various academic and publiciations.

Dr. Sanjeev Patni, MS, practicing surgical oncologist with experience of more than 17 years in the field of surgery after completion of Master of Surgery from S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur India working in the premier institutes like Bombay Hospital and Tata Memorial Centre, mumbai in the initial years and later at BMCHRC, Jaipur has instilled the professional competence to manage any type of surgical intervention in the field of oncology experience of establishing the Surgical Oncology Department at the BMCHRC, Jaipur has given me insights into various aspects of hospital management teaching assignments associated with various placements and participation in conferences and seminar have shaped my academic and professional accumen.

Dr. Nitin Khunteta, M.S. (Gen. Surg.), M.Ch., DNB (Surgical Oncology) completed M.B., M.S. from S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur. After Post Graduation I am active in management of cancer in different hospitals in India. I completed my superspecialisation in Surgical Oncology i.e. M.Ch. from Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai. I am the first surgical Oncologist in North-East India to get DNB Surgical Oncology degree and belongs to the first batch of DNB Surgical Oncology of India. Presently, I am practicing oncology at BMCHRC, Jaipur I am doing endoscopies, minor and radical surgeries.

I have been trained in surgical oncology from RAJIV GANDHI CANCER INTITUTE AND RESEARCH CENTER DELHI for one year and from TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL MUMBAI for almost five years. While my training I have been  exposed to various departments – Head & Neck Oncology , Breast Oncology  , Thoracic Oncology, Gastrointestinal Oncology, Gynecology Oncology, Urology Oncology ,  Bone & Soft tissue Oncology , and Plastic & Reconstruction  services.

During my training period , in addition to above mentioned departments I have been exposed to various other important services also like - Voice rehabilitation, Physiotherapy department, Stoma care and  Pain & Palliative care services.

Presently I am working as a consultant surgical oncologist in Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer hospital & research center Jaipur.

I am doing all types of  major and  minor Onco surgical procedures which includes resection of Head & Neck tumors with reconstruction, Organ preserving Head & Neck procedures, Breast conservation surgery with/without reconstruction, Gastrointestinal surgeries, Organ preservation colorectal procedures with Staplers, Esophageal Surgeries, Lung & Mediastinal tumor resections, Radical Urogenital and Gynecological  Surgeries, Soft tissue tumor resections with reconstruction.

We have Minimally Invasive services also ,I am doing  various Laparoscopic & Thoracoscopic procedures both Diagnostic & Theurapetic also.

I am also doing various diagnostic as well therapeutic scopies which includes- Direct   Laryngoscopy, Microlaryngoscopy , Microlaryngoscopic procedures,  Bronchoscopy, Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal Scopies .

Active participation in various National & International Oncology Conferences in last seven years.

We have DNB training program in Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology and Anesthesia , I am looking after the academic program for the same.

Dr. (Mrs.) Nidhi Patni did M.D. (Radiation Oncology) from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 1997. Was awarded DNB and MNAMS in Radiation Oncology. Has special interest in breast and cervix malignancies. Affinity towards brachytherapy. Presently she is working as Senior Consultant and Co-ordinator of Radiation Oncology Department.

Dr Rajesh Pasricha is working as a consultant in department of radiation oncology, BMCHRC. He has done his graduation from AFMC Pune and post graduation from Ludhiana. He, then worked in several prestigious institute of country e.g. SGPGI Lucknow, JIPMER Pondicherry and NIMS Hyderabad as faculty .He has several publications in various national and international journals and is well trained in use of latest techniques in radiation oncology like IMRT, IGRT . Beside radiotherapy, he has keen interest in clinical research in oncology. His current research interests include head, neck & brain tumors, radiobiology, IMRT and evidence based medicine.

After graduation from GRMC Gwalior, Dr. Manish Siddha did his MD from MGMMC Indore. He was trained as senior resident from prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. He also worked in Neuro-oncology discipline at TMH Mumbai where he developed expertise in precision techniques like SRS SRT etc. His dynamic attitude and utmost patient care has brought lot of credentials to him. He has published papers in indexed journals and has been trained extensively in high precision techniques. He was instrumental in setting up and running comprehensive cancer care unit -PBCRI at Satna. His experience of working at tertiary care cancer institute and rural based health care model has added a lot to his professional spectrum. His areas of interest include precision Radiotherapy, high quality patient care and research activities.

Dr. Suruchi S. Siddha has done her graduation from SSMC, Rewa and post-graduation (M.D. Radiation Oncology) from MGM Medical College, Indore. She then did her senior residency from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She has been extensively trained in latest, high precision techniques of radiotherapy treatment and delivery. She has publications in various indexed journals. Later she worked as faculty at Priyamvada Birla Cancer Research Institute, Satna. Her areas of interest are image-guided brachytherapy, breast and head and neck malignancies and clinical research.

Dr. (Mrs.) Anjum S. Khan Joad is an alumous of B. J. Medical College, Pune. She specialised in Palliative Medicine from the Feinders University, Australia. She has setup the Department of Anaesthesia Critical Care and Palliative Care at BMCHRC, Jaipur. She has authorised scientific publication in National Journal of Anaesthesia and Pain. She has a special interest in Cancer Pain & Palliation. She was instrumental in setting up the Acute Service and Central venom Access Service in the hospital.

Dr. (Mrs.) Pushplata Gupta, MD (Anaesthesia - 1994) Consultant Anaesthesiologist BMCHRC, Jaipur 13 years experience. Also associated with Pain and Palliative Care so that helping the cancer patients to like pain free and gracefully. Four publications and three presentation.

Dr. (Mrs.) Meenakshi Saxena, Passed MD (Anaesthesia) from S.N. Medical College, Jodhpur under guidance of Dr. O.P. Garg and Dr. Vinay Joshi. Post MD experience of 17 years as practising anaesthesiologist. Senior Residency of two years in S.M.S. Government Hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan espectly in Accident and Emergency O.T. and CPR Unit worked for 4 years in Leprostatic O.T. Presently working in cancer hospital Operation Theatre, BMCHRC from 7 years and also working in Pain to Palliative Care medicine in OPD basic and indoor facilities for terminally ill cancer patients.

Dr. (Mrs.) Chandra Lekha Pande, MBBS (Gold Medalist), M.D. (Path. & Bact.). Senior Consultant and Co-ordinator, Department of Pathology, BMCHRC, Jaipur since 16th March,2003. Retired as Professor & Head, Department of Pathology, S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur. My teaching experience 34 years. Special area of interest in Surgical Pathology.

Dr. (Mrs.) Anjali Sharma, M.D. (Pathology). Completed MD in year 2000. Working at BMCHRC in Pathology Department since last 7 years worked in IARC Project on "Precancerous Lesions of Cervix" for 4 years special area of interest in Surgical Pathology.

Presently working Assosiate professor in Radiodiagnosis at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Jaipur.They has been trained at AIIMS , GB pant Hospital & INMAS, New Delhi in CT, ultrasound & Nuclear Medicine.They has been coordinator to DNB exam, Examiner to Diploma and B.Sc. Radiography courses at SMS Medical College, NIMS & MGMC, Jaipur. Has also been Co-guide to MD students.They has an international and national publication. Blood Bank specialist with teaching experience of under graduates. Worked aborad for 10 years in Kingdom of Saudi Arbia. Established Blood Bank in the Kingdom with latest technology and methodology presently working in BMCHRC as Head of Transfusion Medicine (Blood Bank).

Dr. Arun Agarwal , Completed his MD in 1989 from SMS.Medical College,Jaipur. He did senior residency at Shri Ganga Ram Hospital and Hindu Rio Hospital. He has been trained in non invasive Cardiology and Pulmonary medicine and is practicing since 1992. He is life member of Association of Physician of India. Indian society of critical care medicine, Cardiological society of India & RSSDI.He is actively associated at BMCHRC with teaching of DNB student and patient care. The Department of Internal Medicine, of which he is the Incharge, is responsible for  evaluation & diagnosis & management of Co-morbid medical diseases of cancer patients, along with ICU and critical careDepartment is also take-up care of pre-operative workup of cancer patients and ICU & Critical care.

Dr. Varsha Singhal is a well trained Gynecologist and obstetrician from SMS Medical Collage & hospital Jaipur.She is also trained in Medical Genetics at SGPGIMS, LUCKNOW. Her areas of interest are Gynec Minimal Access Surgery. She is trained in Minimal access Gynecological surgeries at Wockhardt hospital, Mumbai & also at Ethicon institute , Mumbai(under Dr.Rakesh Sinha) & Ethican institute,New Delhi(under the guidance of Dr.Vivek Marwah).She is a consultant Gynecologist atBMCHRC sinceFeb. 2008.
